Series of natural edge hollow forms made
from Coolibah Burl found in Outback Queensland in Waltzing
Matilta Country near Winton. These pieces are made in the vein of
the typical camp oven often used by pioneers in this part of the
country.

By a Fire of Gidgee
Coals
Natural edge hollow form made from Ring
Gidgee and depicts the colours found in a Gidgee fire coals
after an over night burn. The lighter sapwood glowing from amongst
the darker truewood. Where the red glow of the Gidgee coals glows
amongst the white ash around it.
